Mi bambina es uno.
January 15, 2009
I don’t speak Spanish.
One year ago today, at this very moment, I was high as a kite and wearing a diaper. It sounds like a scene from Blue Velvet, but actually, I’d just given birth to my baby girl. Poor girl got the short end of the stick by being born in January. It limits how much fun can be had by all when it’s freezing cold outside. We will “make do” with lots of sugar and some Choo Choo Soul on the ipod dock.
She has been the easiest of my children. Happy, social, never sick, cuddly and she loves her Mama.

I take her picture all the time.

Even when I should probably put the camera down. *putting camera down*

She thinks I have some nerve. Look at that face.

She thinks that looking cute will work. “Looka me. I’m cute. Let me stick my finger in the light socket.” And for the record, I have no idea how that bottle of wine ended up on my nightstand. Actually, I use it beat myself in the head when the kids wake up at night.

She has issues with “holding”. Her issue is, “Hold me”. All the time. I’m not complaining.

That may be me and it may not. I may be wearing pajamas and I may not. It may be the Nanny.
I can’t believe she’s already a year old.

Nothing sweeter in this whole world.
Great photos! Happy Birthday to No-L.
That second picture needs to be printed big and framed. Awesome. Also, the last picture of you two kissing actually made tears come to my eyes. God, it looks like something that would have been in my childhood album. I need another girl, even if it takes a few more rounds to get there.
Beautiful, towo very beautiful ladies. happy numba one little girly. See ya’ll tomorrow!
You my lady have the best genes that are possible for one human woman to have.. then along with my brothers… God def had a plan for you two to be make-in babies…. I Love You….All of You…

Happy Birthday gorgeous little Noelle. Happy Birthday Rockin’ Mom.
I miss you today.
I love that it makes those smiley faces for me.
:0) ;0) I want to see if they come back different.
Wait, I have to test it.
I believe you channeled an Italian accent for a second there… LOL! You crack me up!
It’s a good day. I guess we both had the blogging bug on out babies 1st.
Soooooooo sweet…
Beautiful, Amy! Those at the end are so precious! I can’t believe she’s a year old either! It really puts things in perspective when you watch a child grow so much in a year’s time, how quick it all passes.
Happy Birthday, Noelle!
Love you Amy pig..oink~
Girl! Those pictures are your best work yet. Seriously. The editing on them ROCKS too. Classic, elegant, vintage, timeless… I could go on & on.
It must have been a happy, satisying day for you. How wonderful to be so content with what you are doing and the beauty in your child’s eyes as she looks at you–her source of security. Keep it up. Every time I see your work I praise God for what he has instilled in your heart, head and hands! Love and admiration, Ghen
